About Us

 The Parker Family Scholarship is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax-exempt organization, Tax ID #86-1414228. This organization was created to honor deceased family members by assisting Richmond Public School students with the financial burden of a college education. Our goal is to grow the scholarship every year so that we can help as many students as possible. We would love for you to partner with us on this goal. There are also many ways to help the students of Richmond such as the Richmond Public School Education Foundation which also provide scholarships and other assistance to Richmond Public School students. There is also the ability to fund projects in the class with DonorsChoose. If you know of a high school senior, pass the word.

Scholarship Recipients for 2026​

The Parker Family Scholarship awarded 2 scholarships this year to current college students. This year's winners are, Reginald Taylor Jr. and the previous year's winner, Threvia Slayton of Huguenot High School who currently attends Fayetteville State University, majoring in nursing. There were no completed applications for high school applicants this year. Additional funds went to various local charities. We wish the current to winners the best of luck in the future.
