About Us

 The Parker Family Scholarship is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax-exempt organization, Tax ID #86-1414228. This organization was created to honor deceased family members by assisting Richmond Public School students with the financial burden of a college education. Our goal is to grow the scholarship every year so that we can help as many students as possible. We would love for you to partner with us on this goal. There are also many ways to help the students of Richmond such as the Richmond Public School Education Foundation which also provide scholarships and other assistance to Richmond Public School students. There is also the ability to fund projects in the class with DonorsChoose. If you know of a high school senior, pass the word.

The Parker Family Scholarship is pleased and honored to announce the 2025 scholarship award winner. Congratulations to all of the applicants and the award winner. This year's winner is Threvia Slayton of Huguenot High School. Threvia plans to attend Fayetteville State University and major in nursing. We are very excited about her future and so very happy to be a part of her journey.
